We asked on Facebook: What’s your favorite locally made craft beer? And where do you get it? Galveston Island Brewing and Saloon Door Brewing got a lot of love in the casual survey. But other locally crafted beer had their fans, including brews made by Galveston Bay Beer Co., Galactic Coast Brewing and Beers Looking at You. Here’s what readers had to say:
My wife’s favorite, Tiki Wheat. I love it, too. But my palate, it is edged out by Texas Beer Refinery’s Tex’s Blonde!
– Jim Guidry
I love Galactic Coast Brewing. I heard from one of the owners, John Ennis, that they just finished a batch of Sneaky Blonde. I can’t wait.

I’d have to say Tiki Wheat, which is on tap at Toujouse Bar at The Tremont House. We were the first hotel to carry Galveston Island Brewing on tap in Galveston. We are huge fans.

I drink and we serve Tiki Wheat at Bubba’s and it’s become our signature craft seller. And it doesn’t hurt that we are located across from Tiki Island.
