The Daily News hosted a Customer Appreciation Party on Jan. 14 at The Conservatory at The Bryan Museum in Galveston. The event celebrated advertisers of The Daily News and Coast Monthly as well as sponsors of Newspapers in Education, or NIE, which is a cooperative effort between area teachers and The Daily News to promote the use of newspapers as an education resource. Guests enjoyed music by Kevin Anthony & G-town, cocktails, hors d’oevres and giveaways.
