The Galveston Historical Foundation, supported by Tom’s Galveston Real Estate, played host to the sixth annual Menardi Gras on Feb. 7 at the historic Menard House. Galveston’s first Mardi Gras ball was held at the house of Michel Menard, one of the city of Galveston’s founders, on March 26, 1856. Sticking to tradition, guests enjoyed a night of food, fun, music and frivolity at Galveston’s oldest residence. Photos by Carla Peoples
