Photographer and artist Joey Quiroga explores the beauty of the upper Texas coast
For the past 46 years, the Galveston Historical Foundation has been host to Dickens on The Strand in downtown Galveston. Dickens showcases architecture, sights and sounds of a Victorian holiday. This year’s festival on Dec. 5-6 will be different than in years past because of COVID-19. But the event will go on. Dubbed Dickens on the Squares, this year’s event will be spread out to different squares along the event area. Each square will host pubs, food, crafts and entertainment.
