We asked on Facebook: What’s your favorite Italian dish and who makes it?
Our homemade raviolis. My sister, Yvonne Trochesset, my cousin and I gather the troops to make at least 1,100 each year to divide between the three families. That’s three pushy Italians telling everyone what to do and making certain they do it right! Bloody Marys, a la Carolyn Sunseri, help to get us through the process.

Our go-to favorite Italian dish is chicken piccata. I perfected this dish years ago and it has always been the most requested meal in our home, not only from my boys, but from their friends. It’s easy to make and a beautiful dish to serve.

My mother’s lasagna. But my aunt claims it’s her recipe. And my cousin claims it’s her mother’s recipe. So, I guess it’s a good heritage, passed down to generations.
