Runway of Hope Style Show & Luncheon [Aug. 6]
The Women’s Auxiliary of The Salvation Army of Galveston County will hold its annual style show and luncheon benefiting many local Salvation Army programs, activities and services. Houston-based fashion designer Becky Hollands will debut a collection of original creations that mirrors the theme of this year’s event: “Through the Looking Glass: Reflecting on Service to Others.”

Drive-in movie at Mainland City Centre [Aug. 7]

AIA Sandcastle Competition [Aug. 21]
