The Galveston-Bolivar ferry is the link between Galveston and Bolivar Peninsula on state Highway 87. The Texas Department of Transportation has provided the services, free to all travelers 24 hours a day, since 1934. A ride on one of the six Galveston-Bolivar ferries is a great way to see dolphins.
