The Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future held its 15th annual Legacy Hall of Honor Gala on March 3 at the Doyle Convention Center. This year’s inductees included Okla Anderson, Clifton Jones Sr., Dr. Annette Jenkins and Dr. William McGarvey. Community award recipients included Harilyn McMillan, Visionary in Education Award; Terri Burchfield, Distinguished Service Award; Frances Cantu, Spirit of Education Award; Tilly Clark, President’s Award. The event featured a silent auction, dinner catered by Benno’s and a performance by the Texas City High School Sting Jazz Band.
