The Galveston Historical Foundation played host to Menardi Gras on Feb. 11 at the historic Menard House. Galveston’s first Mardi Gras ball was held at the house of Michel Menard, one of the city of Galveston’s founders, on March 26, 1856. Guests enjoyed a night of food, fun, music and frivolity at Galveston’s oldest residence.
